EASY CAL

“EasyCal” is a social calendar app that streamlines scheduling by combining personal planning with collaborative tools. Users can log events, set reminders, and create groups to easily coordinate with friends or colleagues. With a clean, minimalistic interface and social media-inspired features, EasyCal helps users manage their time without overwhelming users. This group project was developed using agile methodology, where I served as co-lead, facilitating sprint meetings. I was also responsible for designing the user interface, building the friend-adding functionality, and implementing the notification and reminder system.

RIPARTMENT

“RIPartment” is a cozy-spooky apartment management game where you play as the landlord of a spirit-filled building. The players can customize their own haunted haven, complete relaxing tasks like cleaning or crafting, and help ghostly tenants resolve unfinished business so they can pass on to the spirit world. As the design lead of the group, I was responsible for shaping the game’s visual style, user experience, and overall flow to create an inviting yet eerie atmosphere.

My Installations

HER PIECES

“Her Pieces” is a group art installation I co-created for my Digital & Integrated Practice class. The work presents an abstract interpretation of a young girl's bedroom, inviting viewers to explore her troubled character through the various "pieces" she has left behind. The installation combines light, sound, fabric, projection, and physical objects, all thoughtfully arranged to evoke an atmosphere of emotional complexity and fragmented memory.

“Wants” is an installation that explores the chaotic reality of university life through the lens of a student's cluttered desk. Surrounded by assignments, ramen, energy drinks, and overdue bills, the student attempts to purchase intangible solutions, like "better mental health" and "more time", from a fictional website, only to find they can’t afford them. Blending physical props with digital design, this piece reflects personal experiences of overwhelm, independence, and the longing for relief amid academic and adult responsibilities.

SIMON SAYS

“Simon Says” is an interactive piece that challenges our instinct to follow authority without question. What begins as a familiar childhood game gradually unravels, prompting viewers to reconsider why they obey. When the screen suddenly goes dark, the illusion of control breaks, and participants are left to decide whether to keep following or take charge. Through this playful yet thought-provoking experience, the piece reflects on the deeper societal pressures to conform, inviting us to reclaim our agency.
